Hi, I am Yelena, a photographer based in Auckland. I live in Rothesay Bay with my gorgeous little girl Neda, my amazing husband Nenad and our cat Sophie.

Photography has been my passion ever since I can remember. I am mesmerised by people's faces and the way the face can express unverbalised, raw, true emotion. Therefore I studied Photography and obtained a Diploma.

Photography to me is about capturing moments you want to remain with you forever. It is time travel - years later when your mind starts to dim your memories, a photograph has the power to wake up the feeling. The feeling of holding your newborn in your arms, of that crazy laughter with your kids, of that moment when you looked into your loved ones eyes and said 'I do.'

There's nothing like walking down memory lane with your partner and saying: "remember this, when...."

While photographing I will make you and your children relax and laugh. Together we will break down the awkward barriers to create a fun atmosphere, to capture those timeless memories together.
