How many images will I receive?

Every session has a certain number of images with an option to add on. Please read the Packages page for more info.

What to wear?

Don't be afraid of colour. Avoid branding and images on the front of t-shirts and black or neon. Choose a coordinating palette of 3-4 colours and dress your family in shades of that palette. Current trend are flowy dresses and earthy colours, browns, deep greens, burnt orange. But you can also email me about your outfit and we can talk about dressing the rest of the family.

What is the turnaround time?

All sessions turnaround time is between 7-10 day except for events, where turnaround time is 3-4 weeks.

Do you travel?

Yes, I can travel, with additional travel fee.

What is a session fee?

Session fee secures your booking and covers the photoshoot time. This is non-refundable if you don't turn up. Rescheduling due to sickness or unforseen events is possible within reasonable timeframe.

Inside or Outside?

For family and portrait sessions we have two options. We can take the kids outside, where we choose one of the city's best parks or beaches to use as the backdrop of your family photography session, or we can organise indoor family portraits in our Auckland studio if you are looking for something a little more formal. These sessions typically take somewhere between half an hour to an hour, depending of how many faces are being photographed.
All Christmas mini sessions are conducted in studio only.

Terms & Conditions


All Sessions are subject to the following terms and conditions.


By booking your Session you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions.

For all sessions a non-refundable session fee of $50 is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. This fee is separate to your package/products which you will select when booking your session. If you suspect your children are unwell, please do not proceed with the session but reschedule for another time. There is no charge to reschedule due to illness or injury, however please ensure that sufficient notice is given. (this does not apply to minis, full payment is required to secure your session)

In the unlikely event of the photographer being ill, your session will be postponed to another suitable date and time. The client forfeits their session fee if they fail to turn up to their session on the booked time and date, this will act as a cancellation fee. Please arrive on time for your session, late arrival will result in a shorter session time. Payment is required before any images or products are released to the client. Payment is due within 7 days after your viewing. Failure to commit to agreed purchase orders will result in legal action to be taken to retrieve funds owing to and costs incurred to Enchanted Photography.


Digital Images -  Enchanted Photography will select the best images from your Session.  Enchanted Photography is not obligated to give the Client any images that are not already presented in their gallery, and there is no option to choose any other images if you are dissatisfied with the ones that you have been given. Once your session has taken place, Stacey will do the final touch ups to your images and will get your prints ordered. (Please allow for three to six weeks processing time for prints). The final images sent are the photographers final works, any additional editing requests will incur additional charges. To ensure the best print quality, avoid altering the images before printing. The photographer is not responsible for printing errors or for quality of prints printed elsewhere. The client is licensed to print from and use the high resolution digital files for personal purposes only. You may not scan or copy purchased prints.


Archive - After thirty (30) days, your final gallery of images will be purged from photographer’s hard-drive, except as needed for promotional purposes, to be determined by photographer at photographer’s sole discretion. The photographer is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond photographer’s control.


Online sharing -  Images may not be altered in ANY way by the client (no cropping, black/white conversion, filters, etc.). Clients are advised to turn off Facebook’s “photo enhancement” feature before posting images as it will greatly distort the image quality. Please refrain from loading Screenshots online, as this does alter the quality of the images and is not a good reflection on the Photographers work.


Liability - The photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business. The Client(s) will waive, disclaim and release Enchanted Photography and its respective owners, members, employees, agents, volunteers and representatives from any and all actions, claims or demands that they may have now or in the future, whether known or unknown, against the Enchanted Photography Parties, including without limitation those related to injury to or death of persons, or damage, loss or destruction of property arising out of or in connection with the Session or any products related there to. If Enchanted Photography cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.


Inherent Qualities - Client is aware that colour dyes in photography may fade or discolour over time due to the inherent qualities of dyes, and Client releases Photographer from any liability for any claims whatsoever based upon fading or discolouration due to such inherent qualities. All product are sold as is. The Client(s) will waive, disclaim and release Enchanted Photography from any damage, loss or destruction of prints purchased from Enchanted Photography. The client is responsible for the care of their prints received or purchased through Enchanted Photography. 


Image Release - I hereby give Enchanted Photography permission to use images from this and any future portrait sessions for possible forms of advertisement and competitions to promote the photographer’s name or business. I have legal authority to grant these permissions and I accept all responsibility for such. COPYRIGHT is owned by Stacey Lake Photography. I do not have the right to revoke this consent. If you wish to not have your images to be used on social media please indicate this in the comments area of your booking.


Sneak Peaks and Facebook/Instagram Sharing - Enchanted Photography will post a favourite shot(s) from the session on the Facebook fan page and encourages the client(s) to tag himself/herself and share with friends and family. Please note that clients are allowed to use these on their Facebook Profile as long as the watermark remains fully intact, and the photo is not altered or cropped in any way.
